We haven't had a big update in a while, so we thought we'd do some changes and additions more so for the sake of fun and changing things up, as well as the usual balancing and new classes shenanigans.
Two New Classes
Follow us in lovely downtown Medievalville to the most incredibly decent restaurant in all of KDR! Chef joins the roster, entirely new from the ground up- loot and all! Chef has a lot of versatility and options at their disposal, with multiple archetypes and the ability to mix and match them, you can make wonderful creations by building around your different recipes! Now, if you take a look just around the corner of the restaurant, down this dark alley- and you'll find Peasant! Peasant is more or less the same gemini/vanilla class that we know and love, but we've fixed one glaring ruling mistake with Gemini- they're not treated as Normal Monsters in the hand, Deck, GY, or banishment! Now that Gemini monsters are suitably normal until they aren't, Peasant has many, many new interesting and exciting avenues to abuse the insanely broken normal monster support this game has- including Primite! Watch out, rich folks!
Oh, we did actually delete Elementalist, by the way.
We don't need to track EXP and GOLD any longer, so we decided to add TWO new stats! INT (or intelligence, for those who may lack the stat to begin with) allows you to strategically ask your opponent questions to get information! CHA (charisma) is our first stat that effects the game outside of the duel- you get to cheat! Well, cheat within the rules of KDR, that is! For each point invested into CHA, your minimum deck size becomes one less! Learn more about them in the Tutorial!
Another 5 Generic Skills have been added! Woohoo! Variety is the spice of life, right? Wow! Check this one out!
Mind Wash Car Wash - (Once per Duel): You can give 1 monster you control to your opponent; add 1 “Brain Control” from your Deck to your hand (add 1 “Brain Control” to your deck, permanently).
New Cards!
Cyborg receives some of the new support- the TCG exclusive "R.B" cards will be joining!
Amaru loot pool has been ENTIRELY reworked! Wow! No more of whatever that was, thank you.
In Conclusion
While maybe not a lot of text, two new classes and new stats change the game a whole lot! I'm excited to see what people do with CHA specifically, I'm interested to see how useful the stat will end up being! Oh, and I really, really, really hope that Chef isn't too strong or too weak! Oh god, I'm gonna get flamed again, no matter how it turns out, right? At least the class is full of FLAVOUR.
Get it? Chef? Flavour?
